Item delivered was as described. Works well to protect table top when soldering or doing other work on small items. I like the fact that the soft surface helps reduce the chance of small screws jumping off the table into oblivion when dropped. The little cubicles are great for putting screws, nuts, washers, etc. in as you work on something.

Most electronic hobby/repair mats are way too busy and poorly designed to the degree of being silly. A lot of glitz and little to no practicality. This one isn't perfect either, but it's less busy and has just the right amount of 'features' for me. Easy recommend.

When I used to solder parts, I put a cardboard on the table, which made it black and messy. When I used this rubber pad, the table looked much cleaner. I didn't know how much temperature this pad could resist, and I used a 300-500 degree electric iron.it looks like OK

I got this mat and immediately took on some soldiering projects I had sitting around.Its nice and bright so easy to find dropped pieces, and seems to handle the heat well as I tapped it with my soldiering iron accientally which seemed to not do any damage to it.It has nice little compartments to keep screws and such from rolling around.Overall essential for your workbench!
